Privacy Policy — Take Helm Strava Connect Extension

The Take Helm Strava Connect extension helps you connect your Strava account to the Take Helm health coaching platform (takehelm.io). It reads your Strava session cookies after you log in and securely sends them to your Take Helm account.

This extension accesses the following data:

• Strava session cookies — Read only after you log into Strava, and only when you initiate a connection from the Take Helm app.
• A one-time connection token — Generated by the Take Helm app to securely link your Strava session to your Take Helm account. This token expires after 10 minutes.

• Strava session cookies are sent to the Take Helm backend to authenticate your Strava account and sync your activity data.
• Cookies are encrypted and stored securely in our database vault.
• No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
• No browsing history, personal information, or data from other websites is collected.

• Strava session tokens are stored only as long as your Strava integration is active in Take Helm.
• Disconnecting Strava from Take Helm deletes the stored tokens.

• cookies — Required to read Strava's session cookies after you log in.
• tabs — Required to detect when you've successfully logged into Strava.
• storage — Required to temporarily store the connection token between the Take Helm app and the extension.
